Preschool program

 We offer full-time preschool. 
 
Meals & Snacks
 
We provide 4 nutritious meals and snacks only. We serve family style breakfast, am snack, lunch and pm snack that are prepared in our center kitchen. Menus are made monthly and emailed with the parent newsletter as well as being posted in the center and the parent board in the classroom. We see mealtime as a continuation of learning time. Children learn to serve themselves, learn appropriate portions, try new foods, pour themselves milk, practice their manners and to clean up after themselves.

•    12:00  Lunch
•    3:45    PM Snack

Hands on Learning

We plan goals and activities based on individual learning styles, interests and skill levels. We facilitate learning and growing in the following areas:

•    Social
•    Emotional
•    Cognitive
•    Linguistic
•    Physical
 
Curriculum

Our Curriculum play based Learning Environment consists of weekly Lesson Plans created by the classroom teacher prior to the following week. 

A lesson plan is a teacher's daily guide for what students need to learn, how it will be taught, and how learning will be measured. Lesson plans help teachers be more effective in the classroom by providing a detailed outline to follow each class period.

8:30am- Morning circle Time
9:00am- Outdoor Play
10:00am- AM Snack
10:30am- Educational Play (Play Centers)
12:00pm- Lunch
1:00pm- Nap Time
2:45pm- Wake up, bathroom break, Put beds away
3:00pm- Outside Play
3:45pm- PM Snack
4:30pm- Educational enrichment
5:30pm- Books and Closing activities.
